WITH THIS NEW SEASON LOOKING TO BE BIGGER & BETTER, IT’S TIME TO GET MORE MATURE ALSO. IF YOU DAMAGE THE HOUSE YOU’RE GONE, NO MORE PASSES. THAT STUFF DOESN’T ENTERTAIN ME,PLUS IT MAKES THIS SPORT LOOK BAD. YOU GET KICKED OUT FOR FIGHTING, WHY NOT THIS. WITH COACHES LIKE RAMPAGE AND FORREST, I DON’T THINK THEY’LL TAKE THAT SHIT, BUT WHO KNOWS.
AT LEAST TAKE THEIR BOOZE AWAY.

Yeah I don’t get that. One thing I will say though is that folks who train either in mma or bjj don’t seem to smoke cigarettes, which is good.

i drink once a week most weekends but i still train real hard 5-6 days. i guess it’s like my reward for working so hard. no cigarettes though.
there’s nothing better than having a few (a few too many lol) beers and watching the fights on a sunday afternoon imo. depends on your ambitions i guess, among other things.
having said all that, if i were on the show i would not be drinking at all. i’d wanna give myself every possible chance to win.

well, bear in mind i’m in new zealand. i’m currently at two gyms. i do my bjj with richard walker, and mma at strikeforce (traditionally one of nz better muay thai gyms), both in west auckland.
