You guys excited about this season?

I wonder how long it will take for Serra and Hughes to start verbally jabbing each other. Should be a good season. I kinda like the 16 fighters for 1 weight class thing too, instead of 8 fighters for 2 weight classes on the show. Much more focused and I think it truly find the “best” in the show.

THE ONLY THING THAT interests me about this season is the verbal fights between hughes ans serra, go serra, i dont like hughes

im just curious if its gunna be able to produce such talent as say forest griffin…or rashad evans….and i also dont like hughes…and after serra knocked out my boy st. pierre i cant wait to see the rematch for serra to get stomped…....GO CANADA

I say we see that in episode 1. The show producers know they have to deliver that kind of content right off the bat.

I heard that Caleb had a run in with Matt Hughes at a swanky LA night club and spit watermelon seeds in his eyes before applying the traingle. Way to go Caleb!

hughes does have a cocky attitutude. but hughes is just going to over power serra. i personally dont think serra is in the top 3-5 fighters in the ufc. he got lucky in the pierre fight. but hughes is going to win.

Don’t be so sure Hughes is gonna run over Serra. I agree Serra is not in the top 3-5, even 10 (hell I didn’t think he beat Chris Lytle at the TUF4 finale)but Matt Hughes has NO STAND UP and will get knocked out if he tries to stand up with Serra. Over Powering Serra ?, Serra is a heavy guy compared to Hughes, and don’t forget Serra has Jui Jitsu.
Im definately looking forward to the match and honestly don’t care who wins, Serra in my opinion did get lucky against GSP but hey that’s just the nature of the game and can’t be taken away from him. It broke me up to see him lose but GSP got caught with a freak of nature forearm to the back of his head – bummer.
Won’t happen again though, But then again Serra wasn’t fighting GSP stupid either; he’s got skills.

i gotta disagree….i know hughes will run through serra because hes not gunna stand and if he does i think hell win…....but i know he wont…..and your right lytle did beat serra in my opinion…..so did you see hughes vs. lytle…..i know it wasnt the most entertaining fight but lytle couldnt do a damn thing about hughses wrestling skills

Who will win, the arrogent ass or the whiny brat. I’m going with the whiny brat only because I dislike him less. but serously Serra is a great coach. Anybody remember Hughes beating up on his guy’s because they lost one of those silly challenges they used to do. He lost some of my respect when that happened.

i hope troy magdoloniaz wins the tourny, he trains with penn and is very good

Was last night’s episode worth watching? I have it recorded but haven’t sat down to it yet…

I like Serra, I thought he would have won the whole thing last year, I didn’t think he coudl beat GSP though. I do think he will beat Hughes. I hope Hughes takes Serra down, Hughes will get sub’d.
Last nights episode was pretty good I won’t spoil it for you by telling you anything.

good episode, i thought this season would be boring but hughes is what makes the show good, hes an aawesome coach, and is very good at getting in serra’s head, im guessing that hughes team did very well and that is one of the reasons he and robbie opened up their gym
