not big news for many of you, i’m sure lol. but, none the less, the rugby world cup begins this weekend (2007/09/07) and i’m confident new zealand will win.
usa does indeed have a team in the tournament. i believe footage will be shown on versus and obviously espn etc.

Go Australia!!!!

Sinosic_fan13. i should have guessed an aussie would be the only response. lol.
australia has a good chance to upset in the semi fanal.
it’s clearly a three horse race now. aussie, south africa, new zealand. the rest have no chance.
go the All Blacks!!!!!

what a disgrace for new zealand. ranked #1 in the world for the last 4 years and eliminated in the quarter finals! wtf?
i’m moving to south africa.

i think usa lost all their games but showed a lot more promise than they ever have before. they only narrowly lost to samoa (a ranked team) by 4 points in the pool play. they also only went down 28-10 to england who came second. no wins, but a they showed huge improvement from previous years.

That is good. I am not even sure of the scoring setup in rugby.

it’s similar to american football.
5 points for try (touchdown equivalent)
2 points for conversion (point after)
3 points for penalty goal (field goal)
3 points for drop goal (no equivalent)
and no safety equivalent.
imo rugby league is an easier, more exciting game to watch than traditional rugby union. in rugby league you get five plays to score a try. much like american footballs 4 down system.

I keep trying to get back into the NFL but I have a hard time. The only thing that keeps me putting my pigskin pick’em predictions in is the $40 I put in to play with my friends.

Dang Caleb…you have $40.00 to gamble AND you have a X-Box 360…you must be loaded.

yeah entering the football pick’em pool was a dumb idea. my best friend’s gf was running it so i felt compelled. looking at how badly i predict nfl games i won’t be doing that again.

and i love halo. i am not very good at it but whenever another halo is released i have to buy the system. i don’t even own any other xbox games!
